Basemark has just raised 7 million euros and PetaCrunch did a short interview with Keith Silverang, its CEO, to ask about Basemark’s plans.
How would you describe Basemark in a single tweet?
KS: Basemark provides solutions that optimize embedded automotive software development & performance through advanced orchestration of graphics & compute resources.
How did it all start and why?
KS: it started when our founder & majority shareholder Tero Sarkkinen successfully exited from his previous venture, Rightware, spinning off that company’s benchmarking business into Basemark. That benchmark business is still with us, spearheading our entry with many of our automotive & SOC customers.
