Technical Artist / VFX, 3D, in ITALY

Are you interested in moving to Italy for a year or two, working a glamorous adventurous job at an amazing Italian car company, representing a Finnish brand as a Very Technical Artist? Whether it’s merging Compute with Graphics in a real-time environment (by way of Vulkan GPU), real world autonomous intelligent systems, machine learning, computer vision, algorithms, or building upon AutoSAR Classic & Adaptive and Linux stacks for a safety critical full solution……we are shaking the Earth by creating the world’s first end to end automotive software platform, and, tools for the Software-defined Car.

We are world-class experts in real-time 3D graphics, compute programming and design. We have the customers, we have the technology, and we are scaling up our tech by productizing it and adding further compute and graphics capabilities as we change autonomous driving forever (and for the better). And with an infusion of millions in cash from investors, we are hiring more world-class experts to help us build our products to scale.

We are now hiring 5-10 additional Technical Artists!

We will send you all expenses paid to ITALY, to work at the client premises for the duration of our contract with them. Once you’re done, we will bring you back to Finland. Or then maybe you will want another adventure?

Your mission (if you choose to accept it) is to work on the implementation of an HMI with respect to the client’s design and requirements. You will work on asset production, integration and implementation. You will have a team to work closely with, and you will LOVE this job.


  • Proficiency in 3D asset production (modeling, texturing, keyframe animation)
  • Experience with one 3D engine
  • Software:
  • 3D authoring tools: Blender / 3DS Max / Maya etc.
  • Kanzi
  • Good understanding of VFX (morphs, particles, shaders, materials, textures), logic trees, state machines
  • Understanding of optimizations techniques (mesh optimizations, UV space, image compression techniques etc.)
  • Experience with real-time graphics development
