Graphics Support Engineer / FAE

Are you an avid gamer or interested in cars, while also working as a graphics software engineer? We have a fascinating new role at Basemark where you will get to dive deep into our cool tech for automotive, our graphics and compute engine and our benchmarks products. And then chat with companies on our behalf, setting up and showing demos (but no need to code unless you want to). You will operate boards like Samsung, MXP, NVIDIA, setting up and answering questions about features and functionality. Think of this as the next step in your blossoming career!

The Job:

You will set up demos for customers, answering technical questions they may have about our graphics tech. You may do some SW releases, but primarily you will dive deep into our tech, learn about our graphics and compute engine and other GPU related products, then share your knowledge with customers and potential customers!

We see this as the perfect role for someone who: knows real-time graphics; wants to learn more about real-time graphics; has some energy in themselves to live a bit on the wild side; wants to join a Finnish software company about to change the world of autonomous drive; has the thrill of being on the front lines with us while we experiment with Vulkan and some other cutting edge graphics tech.

Requirements on the technical side:

  • C++ experience
  • Demo implementation, or UI implementation skills with modern tools to create UIs, like with Qt, WPF, Kanzi
  • Blender, Unity, Unreal, making demos with them in the past
  • Mobile development
  • Knowledge of graphics APIs and DCC tools

On the non technical side:

  • You are a natural conversationalist in at least one language, preferably English
  • You are confident and fearless
  • Strong and vivid sense of humor
  • You are a talker, a researcher, and a listener
