We are based in Helsinki, with satellite offices in Germany and the US, and a team of around 80 people worldwide. Team:The IKS Team is a distributed team of highly specialized engineers working on In‑Cockpit Camera System software. The team covers architecture, implementation, safety, integration, and test automation, and is known for strong customer communication, ownership of complex embedded platforms, and building long‑term automotive competence within Basemark. Our mandate is to integrate a 3rd party CV library, working closely with our customer to deliver high quality software complying with Functional Safety and ASPICE.
You will be responsible for:
- about 10-20% of the time communicating with the customer, a high-end German car company
- about 50% of the time you will be coding C++ on QNX, Basel
- the rest of time you will handle Senior/Lead tasks, such as handling planning activities, change requests, delegating, implementation and testing, and other architectural topics. You will support your PM for task prioritization and effort estimations with other devs, as well as support the Safety Architect in designing safety functionality.
