The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Solutions Engineer to join our Customer Success team in Helsinki. In this role, you will be the technical guide for our European customers, ensuring their successful integration of Rocksolid AR. You will work closely with carmakers, Tier 1 suppliers, and innovative AR display startups, guiding them through the entire integration journey.As a customer advocate, you’ll be their voice within Basemark, ensuring our product teams understand their needs and deliver exceptional experience throughout the customer journey. Your success will be measured by the successful deployment of AR applications, increased Studio license sales, and impactful customer stories that demonstrate the value of our technology.

In this role, you will:
- Foster customer advocacy and represent the voice of our customers with internal teams by relaying customer feedback, identifying themes across customers, and incorporating them into product planning
- Demonstrate how Rocksolid AR can meet customers’ in-vehicle experience design requirements and deliver substantial business value. This includes building and presenting demos, scoping use cases, recommending architecture patterns, and providing in-depth technical advisory
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and best practices to empower customers and internal teams.
- Deliver an exceptional pre-sales customer experience for carmaker prospects and customers by providing technical expertise, outlining the value proposition, and answering product and solution-related questions
- Experiment and prototype solutions with and for our customers
- Escalate new requirements to the appropriate teams
What you’ll need:
- 8+ years of C++ (14, 17, 20) experience.
- 4+ years of experience with Cross-platform build systems such as CMake.
- Experience with vehicle software integration and vehicle messaging systems, e.g., CAN, FlexRay, Some/IP, Automotive Ethernet, or ProtoBuf
- 1+ years of experience with distributed systems such as ROS 2.
- A passion for helping customers succeed and a knack for building strong relationships.
- You can switch context quickly, manage multiple projects across the continent, and keep schedules on top of your head.
- You are an effective presenter and communicator in English who can translate the voice of customers and technical topics across the teams.
- You own problems end-to-end and are willing to pick up whatever knowledge you’re missing to get the job done.
- Humility, helpfulness, and a tenacious commitment to the team’s success.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe to support our customers.
- Valid driver’s license.
Bonus points:
- Experience in robotics, computer vision, and computer graphics
- Experience with embedded systems, e.g., QNX and Qualcomm
