Basemark CL for Multi-core Bench-marking

Basemark CL is a comprehensive benchmark tool designed to measure the performance of OpenCL implementations on various devices ranging from desktops to embedded systems. Basemark CL uses OpenGL ES 2.0 or OpenGL 2.1 for rendering, depending on the platform.

Basemark CL Tests

Basemark CL is used to measure the performance of OpenCL 1.1 capable devices through variety of heavy workloads in a realistic way. The objective and diverse tests allow device manufacturers, semiconductor companies and their ecosystem to improve and optimize the OpenCL implementations within desktop and embedded devices. Basemark CL has been analysed using GPUVerify, which helped us make Basemark CL an even better product with better code.

Minimum Requirements

  • OpenCL 1.1 full profile or higher. Embedded profile will be added soon
  • OpenGL ES 2.0 or OpenGL with similar features as extensions or higher
