Power Assessment Tool Adds Support for Mac And Test Automation

Helsinki, Finland, June 28, 2016 – Basemark extends its lead on app developer power consumption tools by adding support for Mac OS X and command line test automation for its Power Assessment Tool (PAT). Now millions of iOS app developers are able to optimize app power consumption rapidly and reliably, thereby resulting in greater end user satisfaction and reduced uninstall rates.

The new command line test automation interface is available both for Windows and OS X. With the command line functionality, users can now create exact and repeatable test cases and fully automatize their power testing. Basemark also offers the Command Line tool source code package for Corporate customers. The package enables tight integration with other code development tools.

Pricing

To celebrate the summer season, Basemark is offering over 50% discount on the price of PAT until the end of July. PAT is normally priced at 995 EUR for corporate customers and the current sale price is 450 EUR. The unit includes a PAT device, desktop power analysis software for Windows and Mac OS X, and high-quality USB cables.
